Printable Pantry Labels

About a week ago I was seriously in the mood to get organized. That resulted in my rearranging our "pantry" (aka a bookself) and wanting to label the bins that
hold our baking ingredients.

After searching pinterest, I decided to make my own because I needed a specific size,
and didn't need very many.

So here you have some very basic labels for standard items in your pantry. Sorry I don't have the chocolate chips label, that was a last minute addition.

Red

The great thing about these is they are the perfect size to be applied using packing tape.
All you need to do is:

-Print your labels out onto cardstock, and cut them out.
-cut a strip of tape long enough to have at least a few extra inches on either side of the label
-place the label face down  on tape, press down to secure
-carefully apply the tape to your bin, smoothing from left to right to avoid air bubbles.

I love the way this looks! Getting organized is the best feeling. And now there won't be any mix ups if the hubby ever decides to bake on his own.

Thanksgiving Printables

This is my favorite time of year! Halloween is all fun and dandy, but honestly I'm happy when its over so we can get to the "feel-good" holidays.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it's all about family, food, and giving thanks. Here are some printables I made to help celebrate this wonderful time of year:

Hope you enjoy this holiday season!

Beatles Printables

Something about summertime that makes me love listening to The Beatles. Driving with the windows down, blasting "Here Comes The Sun," it doesn't get much better!

Here are some of my favorites:

Sunny Printables for your Sunday

All this warm weather lately has been awesome. Yesterday we spent the day outside at the park with family and it was great. I got my first sunburn! So with Summer almost upon us I decided to make some printables that make me smile...

Can't wait to have more summer fun!

Father's Day Printables

With Father's Day fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to make some
printables using my favorite quotes about Dads.
I love these quotes! They make me realize how lucky I am to have such a great dad. Also, this is my husband's first Father's Day and I'm extra grateful to him for being so
sweet to our little girl!

Count your blessings, insead of sheep

Today has been quite emotional for all of us. As someone who works in elementary schools on a daily basis, I am at a loss for words. Children are so pure, sweet, and innocent and I love my job because of that.

I am also grateful, during this tragic time, for the knowledge I have of the Atonement and that families can be together forever. We are so blessed to have a loving Heavenly Father who sent his Son to earth so that we might all live with him again.

My favorite Christmas movie is White Christmas, and this song is a big reason why:
It always makes me smile and think of my many blessings. Here are some printables that can be used to hang somewhere as a reminder:
I hope these words will be of some comfort on
such a sad day.

Grinch Printable

Last Christmas I made a printable using a quote from one of my favorite Christmas movies: How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I linked it to pinterest and was surprised to see it repinned like crazy.
(39 times to be exact!)

I thought I would make another version this year since it was so popular.  I used this awesome chalkboard paper created by The Latest Find and
LOVE how it turned out!
(8x10)

Also, here is the one I made last year:
(I hope its sized right for 8x10!)

We had the green one hanging on our wall last year and I loved having it as a constant reminder of what Christmas is really about. Its so easy to get caught up in the material side of things.

Dr. Seuss just knows what's up.

Let Him In

Happy December everyone!
This is my absolute favorite time of year.

Christmas music-listening is in full swing around here, and I thought I'd make a printable with lyrics from one of my absolute favorites.

If you are unfamiliar with The Forgotten Carols, you're missing out on a true holiday classic. This particular "forgotten carol" is from the point of view of the Inn Keeper who turned Mary and Joseph away.

He talks about how he felt guilty for turning them away and then at the end of the song relates that to how people should make room in their lives
and hearts for Christ.

Everytime I listen to it I'm reminded that I should always make room for Christ in my life, no matter how busy I get.

This video is beautifully made to the music:

Here's the printable:

Remember to take the time and enjoy this holiday season by putting Christ first.

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving week!
This week my family is visiting from CA and we're going to have tons of fun! Sunday was my nephew's blessing day, and it was a great way to start a week of family time.

I was thinking the other day that its been awhile since I made a printable of my own, so I started thinking of a good one for Thanksgiving.

Instantly I thought of this song by Josh Groban:

I love the last line of the song, and decided it would make a great printable for this holiday season:
(8x10)

Have a great week, and remember to
count your blessings!

President Monson Printables

I didn't watch the Young Women's broadcast this weekend, but a blog I follow made some AMAZING printables with quotes from our prophet. The original downloads can be found here at Lolly Jane
(Teaching about curfew)
I can't wait for conference this weekend!
Stay tuned for my favorite quotes made
into printables.

I Solemly Swear...

Taking a break from Tutorial Tuesday,
I'm in a craft rut.

I'm still busy reading Harry Potter, and am currently halfway through book number 4.
(Can I just say, "Hollywood" MUTILATED book 3!!)

As luck would have it, yesterday I stumbled upon some *free* Harry Potter fonts!
This blog post from Just Another Day in Paradise shares links to some AWESOME stuff.

So naturally, I decided to make some printables using my new fonts:
(Hogwarts Wizard)
 (Parry Hotter)
(Parry Hotter)

That first line comes from a longer quote
by J.K. Rowling.
Here's the whole thing:

"The stories we love best do live in us forever. So whether you come back by page, or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

That woman is a genius!

V-Day Printables

Even though I just got my house all put back together after Christmas decorations took over, I can't help but think about the next holiday...VALENTINES DAY!

This has always been one of my favorite holidays.
(I seem to gravitate towards holidays that involve lots and lots of candy.)

In preparation for your decorating, I thought I'd make some printables that are quite fitting for this month:

Harry Potter Printables

Since this is my "summer" vacation from school, I've decided to re-read all the Harry Potter books. My little brother has read them literally a THOUSAND times, but I've only read them once (with the exception of book 7).

There are some great quotes in those books, by Dumbledore because he was THE MAN, and I thought I'd make some printables out of them.
Favorite:
Wouldn't these go great in a Harry Potter themed playroom?

Lately

So the past few days I've done nothing my lie on the couch with the stomach flu...LAME. So I got on my computer and decided to take some of the things I've been thinking about and make them into printables.

This first one is from the December visiting teaching message.
This quote really stuck with me:
Such an inspiring message for those of us who feel like what we do is never enough.

This is from an old VHS tape my family watched growing up called "My turn on earth." (Its MAJORLY old school.) I randomly get songs from it stuck in my head and this is part of my favorite song:
What a great reminder. Sometimes I feel like I have NO control over my life,
but that's not true.

Here's the full song:

Temple Printables

I found a blog today that has a tutorial for making Temple Blocks.
You can find it here at Lil' Luna's blog. What's totally awesome, is they have TONS of temples to choose from on their page.
Here's some of my favorites:

Oakland, Sacramento, and Salt Lake.
These would be great to put in your kids room as a
reminder to choose the right. You can easily find "your temple" and modpodge it onto a block! Super easy and cheap craft! Those are my favorite kind.

Happy Veteran's Day!

Enjoy the day off if you got it! =) I happened to have both classes
cancelled today, so I'm pretending I got the day off for Veteran's Day like everyone else. Today I'm remembering my favorite veteran, my Grandpa. He fought in Vietnam and Korea.
I wish I had gotten to know him better, he died in 1991 when I was almost 5.
Doesn't he look like such a stud? This picture was taken in Korea, 1953. Four years before my dad was born.

I found this printable on this cool site: ishareprintables.com
And thought I'd share it with you
You can download it here

We all have so much to be grateful for!
Have a great Weekend!

I'm headed to Utah today, I'll write about our adventures later!
