For the Harry Potter fans:

I found this on Pinterest, and I'm not sure how accurate it is, but I loved reading it anyways, so here you go:

These are some facts that J.K.Rowling let slip in numerous interviews. Facts that tell us what all happened nineteen years later…

~ Azkaban no longer uses Dementors as guardians.

~George Weasley married Angelina Johnson and had 2 children named Fred and Roxanne.

~Harry made sure that the Wizarding world knew that Snape was a hero and on Dumbledore’s side.

~Slytherin House became more diluted and was no longer solely pureblood; however its dark reputation lingers.

~Harry lost the ability to speak Parseltongue.

~Umbridge was arrested, interrogated and imprisoned for crimes against Muggleborns.

~The Resurrection Stone is now buried in the Forbidden Forest after being pressed into the ground by a centaur’s hoof.

~ Voldemort’s curse on the DADA position at Hogwarts has been lifted.

~Viktor Krum fell in love with a woman back home in Bulgaria.

~The Death Eater’s Dark Marks eventually faded to look like a scar. It will no longer burn or hurt.

~ The Quibbler is back to publishing articles about the lunatic fringe & is appreciated for its unintentional humour.

~Members of the DA still have their coins, as they are like badges of honor.

~Neville Longbottom worked as an Auror before moving on as the Herbology professor at Hogwarts.

~The remaining Death Eaters were killed or imprisoned in Azkaban for their crimes, with the exception of the Malfoys.

~Luna Lovegood married the grandson of the Newt Scamander, author of ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’

~Firenze survived his wounds and was welcomed back into the Centaur herd.

~Harry will never become Headmaster of Hogwarts since an academic career just isn’t him.

~Draco Malfoy really cares about his son, Scorpius Malfoy. He is growing him up to be a better person than he was.

~Centaurs realized that “pro-human leanings were not shameful.

~Draco and Harry never became friends, but they did come to understand and appreciate each other better.

~Hermione tells Scrimgeour that she is not planning to embark on a career in Magical Law. Ironically, that’s where she ends up.

~After his death, Voldemort is forced to exist in the stunted infant-like form that Harry sees in the King’s Cross-like Limbo.

~Harry would take his family to visit Dudley’s when they were in the neighbourhood (occasions dreaded by James, Albus and Lily).

~Aberforth is still at the Hog’s Head “playing with his goats”.

~The number of Dementors have been greatly diminished because despair and degradation have been lessened in the world.

~Arthur Weasley fixed Sirius’ motorbike and gave it to Harry.

~Nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts, the school for witchcraft and wizardry is led by an entirely new headmaster (“McGonagall was really getting on a bit”) as well as a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. That position is now as safe as the other teaching posts at Hogwarts, since Voldemort’s death broke the jinx that kept a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor from remaining for more than a year.

~Hagrid never married, although he had a relationship with a giantess.

~Kingsley Shacklebolt became the Minister of Magic after the Second Wizarding War.

~Harry will not train to be an animagus; his “energies are going to be concentrated elsewhere and he’s not going to have time to do that.

~Audrey Weasley is wife of Percy Weasley, and they both have 2 daughters, Molly and Lucy.

~Neville Longbottom’s students were impressed when he showed them his Dumbledore’s Army’s Coin.

~Harry, Ron and Neville didn’t return to Hogwarts for their 7th year. They went straight to get training as aurors and Neville went to work as an auror before becoming a Professor.

~Hermione Granger was the only member of the trio who returned to Hogwarts to complete their seventh year.

~After the war, Hermione found her parents in Australia and restored their memories.

A Henderson Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! Jason is currently at work, dressed as a giants fan, and I am at home. I'm sitting here waiting, and wishing we would have trick or treaters stop by.
We have WAY too much candy in our house!

Jason didn't work yesterday so we did our celebrating then. First we decorated cookies:
Normally we decorate cupcakes,
but there are so many more options this way!
(Plus I have a set of 100 cookie cutters PERFECT for any occasion!)
Here's my cute hubby decorating cookies:
(after being told to smile nicely...
boys can be so annoying that way! lol)

We dropped some cookies off to our friends in the neighborhood, and then it was time for pumpkins!
We decided to watch Casper while we carved.
I'm not a scary movie fan AT ALL.

Here's our finished product:
Have a great night!

A little late...

Today I realized that I have done ZERO Halloween crafts. I bought a fake pumpkin at Michael's almost a month ago, but never got around to making anything.

I caught the crafting bug, and here's the result:
That black stuff is called "rick-rack," and its dirt cheap! I added some silver puff paint, and there you go!
Now its right back at home on our movie shelf, its just a little cuter.

Is it Christmas yet?

I saw this quote, and just had to make it into a printable!
LOVE this movie, and the message it shares.

ps: 57 days till Christmas. =)

Candy Coups

When I started couponing I told myself we would only use them to buy things that we NEED. Well, everyone NEEDS Halloween candy right? I couldn't pass up the deals, so we kind of bought 7 bags. lol
We got all this:
For about $8, and the Dr. Pepper was free! =)

Don't worry, I'm going to use most of it for goodie
bags to give my primary kids on Sunday.

Pumpkin-spiration

When I was a kid, I never put much thought into how I carved my pumpin. I would sit down, draw it out with a crayola marker and that was it. Then in high school when those crazy patterns became popular, I tried to make a crazy, complicated one.

Now, I'm somewhere in the middle. The last few years I've gotten on google and looked for cute, easy ideas
and these have been the results:
(I know I've said it before, but my husband is such a BOY!
Just look at his pumpkin faces! lol)

Ok, so this year I'm sticking with the easy, cute faces.
So I googled...and here's my pumpkin-spiration:

Now I just have to choose!
I'll most likely be picking parts from each one.
We're planning on carving our pumpkins Sunday night
because Jason's working on Halloween.
I'll take lots of pictures. =)

The blogging world!

I've mentioned before that I have started following a lot of "mommy" and craft blogs. I am LOVING all the cute ideas that they post. I just have to share this one because its SOOO easy
and there are so many possibilities!

I can teach my child posted this cute craft today:
These stained glass pumpkins are made from coffee filters.
All you do is color them with markers, spray with water, and let them dry! You can find a more detailed tutorial here.

I'm excited to try making something for christmas...
maybe snowflakes? Ornaments? Christmas tree?
Who knows!

Crooners

Guess what my sweet husband let me buy today:
I haven't bought a REAL cd in a LONG time, but its cheaper at Walmart than on Itunes. Only problem is I'm not allowed to open it until "there is snow on the ground" (according to Jason).
Last year I think I started listening to Christmas music around this time and he got sick of it.

I'm excited though. I love this style of Christmas music the best. I'm grateful I was raised listening to the classics like Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole around Chistmastime. Its actually a tradition to listen to Bing while we decorate the tree, and Nat while we open presents.
When I was a kid we listened to them on a record player!
 (Wow I feel old!)

Here's something to get you excited for Christmas:
Pretty much the best Christmas movie ever made.

Tis the Season

Anyone else getting ready for Christmas? I can't wait! I've been fighting the urge to start listening to my Christmas music, and I don't know how much longer I'll last.

Even with Christmas on my mind, I've still been adding to our Halloween decorations! I printed out a Halloween printable AND a sheet of digital scrapbook paper today at WalMart, and here you go:
(sorry its crooked, I was fighting glare from our window)
I wish I could remember the site for the "trick or treat" printable.
I'll try and find it, and post it later.

But you can find the digital scrapbook paper here.
They have stuff for Christmas too!
All I did was print it, and add the white stickers!
So cute, and I can do ones for each season/holiday
and switch them out!

In case you hadn't noticed, I'm kind of addicted to printables.
There are just so many out there,
and you can do so many things with them!
So today (while procrastinating my homework)
I decided to make my own.
With Christmas on the brain,
I found a quote from Pinterest and got to work.

All you need to do is use Paint to make a colored background,
Then save it and open it in Picnik to add text and other fancy things.

Here's what I came up with:
I just love this saying, and its perfect for the holidays!
If you want this image, just click, right click, & save image to your computer.

I think I have a new hobby!
But I really should get started on that homework...

The forecast...

Its inevitable. Winter is coming. I'd like to think the snow will just skip over Rexburg, but we all know that will NEVER happen! So I'm grateful I have a husband who let me buy these...

50% off at JC Penny's last weekend!
I was torn between these and the brown ones, and my silly husband was like, "You don't have many things that go with brown." I thought about it and he was right! He's such a good shopping buddy.
LOVE THEM! They're super comfy. =)
Brace yourselves...winters coming!

More cute stuff!

Hello world! School has been REDICULOUS this week, and thats why I've been MIA. I just found these cute printables online for my next craft adventure & thought I'd share:
This would be so cute to hang in a future daughters room!
You can download it here

I'm really excited about this one:

My plan is to either frame it or get it laminated so I can use a dry erase marker each week.
We could really benefit from planning our meals!
You can download it here

Happy Weekend!
Enjoy.

Mike Wazowski

We are now the proud owners of this:

Apparently, when people return fish at WalMart, they aren't allowed to go back into the tanks with the other fish. This means that usually the fish get flushed. Jason told me that sometimes they let employees take the fish home, but I told him no way.
(See how well that worked!?)

But I woke up yesterday morning to find a fish swimming around in a vase with a note that said something like this:
Dear Sweetheart,
Don't get mad but I couldn't just let them flush him!

So now we have a fish, and his name is Mike Wazowski.
He's a funny little guy. He's scared to death of EVERYTHING.
He literally hides behind his "club house" and
doesn't swim around EVER.
Apparently thats why he was returned.
I personally like having a "chill" fish

I just hope he gets used to us soon
right now he looks like he's going to poop his pants
 everytime we walk by!

Free stuff!!

My newest obsession is printables!! So many blogs and websites give them away for free,so I'm addicted! All you have to do is save them to your computer as an image, or click "download" if that option is available.

I found this amazing blog that gives away Free LDS printables and all their stuff is ADORABLE!

You can find things like this:

(Click on the link I posted to get the actual downloads)

I have so many of these saved on my computer, but I don't remember what sites I found them on so I'd rather not post them and get people mad at me. (Wouldn't be the first time!)

Another website that I found is mygrafico.com where you can download digital scrapbook paper for free! Stuff like that would be great for mod podging or framing with some word stickers saying "Ho ho ho" for Christmas or "Boo!" for Halloween. =)
So many possibilities!

What's up

Its been awhile since I updated the world on "what's up" with the Hendersons. Well, since school has started our lives have gotten a bit crazy. I'm taking 7 classes...and I feel like I'm being pulled in a million different directions. Its ok though, thats what being a senior is all about right?

Jason is taking only 2 classes: Organic Chemistry and ceramics. Sounds funny I know, to have two totally different classes but thats what he's doing! He only needs the chemistry class and then he's got his associates. The ceramics class is just for fun.

Jason's still at WalMart working as a customer service supervisor, and I'm currently not working so I can focus on those 7 classes of mine. (one of those being a math class that requires meeting with a tutor twice a week. No Bueno!)

This past weekend I went to Utah to spend some time with my sisters and Jason stayed in Rexburg to work. I hate leaving him, but I would have been home alone practically all weekend so I headed South.

I had fun visiting with my BFF, shopping with my sisters, playing with my niece Evie, and most of all listening to General Conference.

I wish I had taken more pictures, but the weekend just seemed to FLY by! I took a total of 2 photos while in town and here they are:

I had lots of fun with my pal Evie. =) She is the best!

Not much other than school is in our future, but I'll keep you posted!
