Back to school
Girls: I know you can relate to what I'm about to tell you.
I bought some back to school clothes at oldnavy.com and I think I'm in love! I bought this shirt:
And its beautiful!!! You can't see the colors very well,
but its perfect for fall.
And as I was trying it on, I realized I have ballet flats that are
the exact same shade of purple....
And thus, my first-day-of-school-outfit was born.
Yes, I've already got that planned and school doesn't start
for 2 more weeks.

Spare time...
Schools out, Jason's working, nothings on TV...
You know what that's a recipe for....CRAFTING!!
So I decided I'd finally get around to doing some of the crafts that I'd bought the supplies for, but haven't gotten around to yet.
Here's what I've been up to...
I got free paint samples from Wal-mart, and taped the hearts onto some thread. SO easy!
I painted to blue canvas awhile ago, but I finally got around to doing the green one. Its just wooden letters hot glued onto a canvas and then painted it all at once. I think I'm going to hang them over our bed...our room lacks decorations.
Thank heaven for Pinterest, ALL of my crafts are inspired by things I see on there.
Here's what I'm thinking of trying next...
These popcicles are made with capri suns!! Sounds tasty. We've bought the popcicle molds, now I just need some fruit.
I really want to do this for Christmas. All it takes is a foam cone, buttons, and push-pins with pearls on the ends. What I'm going to do is use only green buttons, and color the pins different colors with sharpies!! Sounds like fun!
School doesn't start for like 2.5 more weeks, so who knows what I'll come up with!

The Vacation of all Vacations
August has been a great month so far! We left for CA on the 4th and drove out there with my sister Suzanne and her husband Ryan. Once we got there we went out to dinner at Mary's Pizza Shack...FAVORITE!!
Saturday was the day of our Giants game!! It was a great day, even though they lost. I was just happy I got garlic fries. =)
Sunday was the day of our family reunion.
We spent the day in American Canyon catching up, playing games, and eating delicious food! I love getting together with all my cousins. I hadn't seen most of them since my wedding so it was a lot of fun.
Monday we went to Jelly Belly and then headed to old Sacramento. I hadn't been there in years, so it was fun to walk around. Another plus was going to Round Table for lunch and getting to have a Maui Zaui...DELICIOUS!!
Tuesday was when Jason and I headed down to Disneyland! After getting stuck in stupid LA traffic for like 2 hours, we finally got there. Our hotel was really nice and I would totally stay there again. It was a bit far from the park, but the shuttle system is really easy.
I didn't take many pictures in the park because we were to busy
having fun! We got to go on everything we wanted,
except the Matterhorn because its getting fixed up.
We did discover that they're building a "Cars Land"
in California Adventures.
Pretty exciting stuff!
We drove home from Disneyland on Friday, and we were able to stick around for Nathan's birthday that was on Saturday the 13th. We went to Scandia for some fun, and Texas Roadhouse for a delicious dinner.
Once we were finally back home for the day, I was able to make him this awesome cake:
I'm kind of the best sister ever.
We made the long drive back to Idaho on Sunday and now we have not much to look forward to now that the fun is over in California, and school starts in less than a month.
