Some of My favorite people...

JASON!!!!!!! Of course he makes the top of the list. =) I love him more than anything else in this world and I can't wait to be his wife. He is the sweetest, most caring person I've ever met and does so much for me without being asked. Right from day one I knew that we had a lot in common and that is one of the reason we're so perfect for each other. =)

My bff ERYKA! She makes me look good as my hairstylist, and she's always been there for me in every way. We're so much a like its hilarious, we've had some pretty funny moments through the past years and I hope we have many more. =)

My favorite little brother NATHAN. He's so funny and loves to laugh. He loves taking funny pictures...as you can see. =)

Oh ASHLEY. I would not have survived Summer semester without you! We had SOOOO much fun! You crack me up, and I miss you!
My most amazing one and only room-roommate for 3 semesters...ALYSSA! This girl is the best! We clicked pretty quickly and have had some fun while living together for sure! She kept me sane while going through very stressfull times and I love her so much!

Evie! I love my little niece. She has the most energy and is so fun to watch. She's a little sweetheart and cares very much about everyone. (Example: She was watching Peter Pan and cried when they made Wendy walk the plank. How precious!)

All the Farmer girls!
I have amazing sisters who I look up to very much, and my mom is just as awesome! She works so hard and does so much for so many people. And of course Evie bug is super fun too. =)

Of course there are so many other that I love and admire...but its bed time! You know who you are...and I love you all!

What a year...

So I realized today that its been a million years since I last posted something on here. I'm getting married in 8 weeks, and will be celebrating my 1 year anniversary with my sweetheart Jason this wednesday on the 17th. With that milestone coming up, I've been thinking a lot about how quickly things can change.

If you had told me a year ago I'd be getting married, to someone from my hometown, in April. I probably would have laughed quite loudly (louder than I usually do). I just think its funny how Heavenly Father's plans never seem to make sense at first, but once things start falling into place, its amazing.

Two years ago I get accepted to BYU- Idaho. I never would have thought I'd end up there, since I always wanted to go to Provo like EVERYONE else in my family. I was pretty bummed about it, but in the back of my mind I knew there was a reason. I left for school in August of 2008 and once I got there it was a blast! I met amazing people and made lifelong friends.

Fall semester ends and I'm off track in the winter so I head back to Fairfield because I have a job waiting for me there. I was pretty depressed about that because all of my friends were sticking around and I knew there wasn't much waiting for me back in Fairfield except for family and friends. I really wanted to stick around but had a feeling I should go home and earn more money. My roommates were all "There's boys in Fairfield right?" and I laughed in their faces. These were my exact words: "The only way I'll find a boy is if some guy is there doing an internship, or some random returned missionary shows up out of nowhere." But in my mind I knew that was unlikely because I'd lived in Fairfield since age 6 and knew EVERYONE...or so I thought. =)

I get home and I start going to my singles branch. And there I see this boy. Returned missionary. Brown hair, blue eyes, and the cutest smile. Very much out of my comfort zone, I made an effort to get to know him and I come to find out that we've grown up in the same town practically all our lives but had never me. Graduated high school the same year and everything, just on opposite sides of town.

We start hanging out more, and a few months later he gets accepted to BYU-Idaho. This made me really happy because I'd started to fall for him pretty bad. A few weeks after that, he found out he'd been assigned to the same track system as me...nice!

Not much longer after that, I decided that I was going to let him know in more obvious ways that I was interested...which is TOTALLY not how I roll. (I've always been afraid of being one of those girls who's totally obvious that she likes a guy and is super annoying)

February 17, 2009....I make my move. Jason and I were watching a movie at a friends house and I had decided that if we ended up sitting next to each other I was going to rest my head on his shoulder. We'd watched movies there before and it never worked out that we'd sit next to each other, but for once it worked out! I leaned my head on his shoulder...he held my hand...we had our first kiss...and started dating. The end. lol.

Just kidding...what all of this makes me think of how many things had to fall into place so that I could be in the right place, at the right time to meet the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I'm eternally grateful for a Heavenly Father who knows me individually, and knew who would be my perfect match to make me happy for eternity.

For those of you out there who may be frustrated with the way things are going in your life, just remember that trials make you stronger and there is a plan for you that will all make sense in the end. It took me awhile to realize that, but now I know that if I put my trust in the Lord things will always work out.
