For your enjoyment...

A few weeks ago I decided that I needed a board on pinterest just for funny things. Now, whenever I need a laugh I have the perfect spot to look.

Here are some recent additions that will make
 you smile...and laugh...a lot.

That last one is my favorite. I laugh EVERYTIME I look at that bottom picture.
Hope these made your day a little better.

Mama taught me well

Today was a great day for shopping! I went to Idaho Falls because I needed something from Michael's & I had a coupon.
I decided to continue my mustard-yellow-cardigan-search and look at some different stores like Kohls, TJ Maxx, and Ross....but nothing.

But I did find some great clearance!!
At kohls I found these shoes...
Candies for 11.99....orig $60!

I found this charger...
for $6...orig $35!
It has 4 different usb ports and plugs into the wall...BRILLIANT!

Then I headed to Michaels, and found this BEAUTIFUL poster...
Only $3...orig $10.

Can't wait to hang that somewhere in our apartment.
I heart San Francisco almost as much as Jason. =)

I don't know why, but finding good deals is so much fun!
I was raised to look for bargains...ever since I was a kid going grocery shopping with my mom.

I think I did her proud today. ♥

Fall Fever

Ok, I broke down and decided to put up our Halloween/fall decorations. I don't care if its only halfway thru September!
I Just love decorating for holidays,
even more now that we have our own place.
Ta dah...

Here's what the garland looks like up close:
There's also little ghosts on there too.
(Got this at Michael's last year for really cheap!)

I found these little beauties at Target for only$1!! So cute:

Here's some of my favorites....

(From the BYU-I bookstore)

(Lantern from Ikea, little witch from BYU's bookstore)

We like this little Witch because she looks like my niece Evelyn. =)
BYU & BYU-I always have the cutest decorations, and they're pretty cheap if you look at the right time.

Got this cute free printable online and decided to frame it:
YAY for Fall!!!

Whats new...

Lately I've started following a lot of "mommy" blogs. They're packed full of craft ideas, activities for small children, and lots of other cute things! Since I teach the 5 & 6 year olds in primary,
I can use all the help I can get!
Today one of those blogs introduced me to the COOLEST website! Its called: the printable cottage and you should check it out!
The site sells images you can pay for online, and then download to your computer to print out. Here's some of my favorites:

These would be so cute to frame and hang somewhere in our house!!
They have stuff for most holidays, gift tags, and more cute stuff.
I got 2 free downloads today that were really easy to get. =)

Latest creations...

So since school is starting in a week, I decided that I needed some more cute hair accessories. I kept seeing pictures of fabric flowers all over pinterest, and so I thought I'd make me some new headbands and clips.

At first I was just going to make myself a few things, then I went a little crazy. I thought, "I can make some cute stuff for Evie!" Then I thought, "Well if I'm making some for Evie, I bet Nellie would like some too!"

That led to me thinking, "I have a lot of pink here...Heidi (My 12-year-old sister-in-law) likes pink, I'll make her some for Christmas!" So as you can see I went a little cray-cray.
It was fun though, Jason worked 3:30-11:30 every night this week, and they've been having a FRIENDS marathon all week on Nick at Night, so I was in heaven!
These are the clips:
But what I'm most proud of, is that I discovered something cool.
I know its probably been done before, but I can honestly say that I came up with it all on my own. What I did was put 2 different pieces of fabric back to back, so when I was twisting and gluing, it looked really cool.

See...
Now I'm all set to be super cute this semester!
