Reason #1

Everyone knows I'm not fond of living in Rexburg, but this is the #1 reason:

When I woke up this morning and went to school, it was GORGEOUS. It wasn't even 9 yet, clear blue sky, not windy, and I was fine with just a cardigan. THEN, in the span of my 2 hour science class, this happened...

Pouring Rain!!
The weather here literally changes in the blink of an eye...and 99% of the time, its not for the better. =(

The Near Future...

We've got some exciting things happening in the near future!

*Next weekend I'll be heading down to Utah. (10 days!)

I'm excited to say that while I'm there I'll be spending time with my newly married BFF, seeing my family, and OF COURSE hanging out with The Bug! (My Niece)

*I'm on the look out for a new bike! (This weekend?)

Jason has a bike, and we've decided that I should get one too because once it finally decides to be Summer, we can have some fun riding around town. =)

*We're headed to California in August! (80 days!)

I know thats not really in the NEAR future, but I'm seriously excited about it!!

Here's what we've got planned:

-My cousin Liz's wedding Friday, August 5th.
-Going to a Giants game Saturday, the 6th.
-Driving to Disneyland Tuesday, the 9th.
-Driving back to Fairfield Friday, the 12th
-Hanging out with my bro for his 13th birthday on
Saturday the 13th.
(He says he wants to go to the beach...I'm totally ok with that!!! )

Then we're finally driving back to Idaho on the 14th.
Whew!

Now I just have to count down the days till school is over (64 days!), then life will be perfect! =)

My New Toy

Every kid has a favorite toy. For me, it was a stuffed lion that Grandpa Farmer gave me when I was very young....maybe 3 or 4.

He also gave lions to Nellie and Suzanne. Nellie's is the biggest, Suzanne's is slightly smaller, and mine is the baby. We all still have them. =)

I never gave it a name, he was and still is "my lion."

We've been thru a lot. At some point I gave him a hair cut, which didn't turn out quite well after he went thru the wash.

After awhile he got so warn out that the only part of his fur that was soft was on his butt. So that resulted in me sleeping with him upside-down, rubbing his butt as I fell asleep. Weird, I know!

He has definitely been loved. Can you even tell its a lion?! lol

When I was staying at Nellie's last month we realized that this EXACT lion is on for sale on ebay! Evie has fallen in love with Auntie Suz's lion and Nellie was looking for a replacement so that Suzanne could have her's back before anything happens to it.

I was literally SHOCKED when I saw what my lion used to look like...wait till you get a look:

CUTE!!!!!!!

So.....I bought it. =)
I couldn't resist.

Maybe I'll give him to my first baby.
Every kid needs a favorite toy.

Hair Adventures

So my journey back to brunette was A LOT harder than I thought it would be! The last time I dyed my hair I thought I was done. But it faded, and the red came back through, and yet again I had nasty brown roots.
So I decided to suck it up and go back to the salon and have them do a color correction. I went in last Saturday and 5 hours later...I left the salon with orange hair. They told me that "my hair needed a break" and that I would have to come back on Tuesday. I was less than thrilled because that mean going to church and school with weird looking hair.
So I went back today and they rinsed my hair with some stuff and it was magically brown again!
HALLELUJA!!!
Its a little bit more "golden brown" than my natural hair color, but I think my roots will blend A LOT better. =)

In other news, I thought I'd share with you a cute project I made. When Jason and I bought our laptops a few weeks ago we got a code from Shutterfly.com to make a free book.
You know how I love free things, so I made a book of pictures starting from when Jason and I met, up until we got married. Its similar to this video I posted awhile ago, and its called "The Story of Us"

Modern Family

Ok, so Jason and I have been going through a Modern Family phase.

We just bought season 1 and are having so much fun watching!

 If you've never seen this show...you're crazy!! Its the funniest show I've seen in a LONG time. Its like a mix between friends/big bang theory/and the office.
