Graduation

I'm officially graduated! It feels great, but I'll enjoy it more once we've finished packing and get all moved down to Utah.

This past week was filled with lots of family fun! Mom, Dad, and Nathan got here Wednesday night, and we all spent Thursday touring campus, I picked up my cap and gown, and we took them out to eat at a few places only found here in town.

Friday Nellie and Evie got to our place in the afternoon, and Suzanne and Ryan got here a little later. We had a nice BIG lunch at Pizza Pie Cafe,
and then it was time to get ready for graduation!
Commencement was nice, it just took forever to get started. I was actually able to spot my family in the audience which was pretty impressive in an arena that fits like 13,000 people!

After commencement we took some pictures and then headed to the next ceremony where they were going to read my name. There were some really great talks given and President Eyring's son was one of the speakers. He looks just like his dad,
only completely bald!
(You can see him here on the right)

After everything was over we took some more pictures and then headed to Dairy Queen to celebrate. The whole day went perfectly!
The rest of the weekend we spent relaxing at the park, eating out, playing games, and watching movies. It was great to finally have my family come visit us in Rexburg.

Now that everyone has left, its time for Jason and me to start packing and cleaning! We're officially moving out this Saturday.

SUPER excited for the next chapter in our lives!

Weekend Happenings...

Friday: We stayed home most of the day because I wasn't feeling well. But we did enjoy watching Empire Strikes Back and eating some Taco Bell.

Saturday: I'm glad I was feeling better because it was Jason's birthday! He slept in, and I got to work baking his delicous cake. We headed to Idaho Falls for some Chic Fila, and then relaxed at home for a bit.

Later on we headed out to the demolition derby with our friends Nate and Bonnie.

 We had a blast!
Later on it was time for cake:

Sunday: We spent the day at church, taking naps, and watching some Harry Potter.

Not a bad weekend, can't wait till my family
comes in 10 days!

Happy Birthday to Jason!

Today is my sweet husbands birthday!!
 (He still makes this face!)
(If we ever have a boy, I hope he looks just like this little cutie!)
He was smart enough to request today off like 6 months ago so
we could have some birthday fun.

On the list for today:
Chic Fila for lunch
Demolition Derby with the Bair's
and
Cake with mama's delicious homemade frosting!

Its going to be a great day, I'll take lots of pictures.

Our Fourth

Our Fourth of July was SOOOOO much better than last year! Last year we did WAY too much and I got one of the worst sun burns of my life in the process. This year Jason had to work until 2:30 so I got to relax for most of the day, even though I would have liked to go to the parade. (I was raised in a parade-going family!)

We had my cousin and his wife over for dinner, and we got a suprise because his mom was in town too. It was so nice to spend the day with family because thats what I'm used to! Around 8 we headed over to our friends apartment complex to shoot off some fireworks. Jason is such a big kid when it comes to fireworks, so I let him pick out a bunch as a birthday present.
We had a blast, and its always a good time when one of the huge fireworks doesn't do what its supposed to and just BLOWS up. The same thing happened to us last year, but this year it was INSANE. The firework came in a rectangle box and after it blew up, there was NOTHING there. I'm giggle right now just thinking about it.

Can't wait to celebrate with family again in
Utah next year!

Oh July

I have never been so happy to flip my calendar, except for maybe when I was getting married. This month is jam packed full of fun and exciting things. Sometimes I can't sleep I'm so excited!
Here's what's coming up:

In 16 days my parents and Nathan are coming to visit, for the FIRST time since Jason and I got married. I'm so excited for them to see our cute apartment and to see
all the changes on campus.

In 18 days Suzanne, Ryan, Nellie, Ryan, and Evie are coming to visit too because that's GRADUATION DAY!! Yes, this 25-year-old is FINALLY done with college...
better late than never!

I'm so excited to have my whole family come see Rexburg and just have everyone together for the first time since Christmas! I've been thinking a lot about all the food places they should try, stores they should see, and activities we can do together.
Its going to be awesome!

In 26 days we are saying PEACE OUT to Idaho! We're packing up and moving down south to Cedar Hills, UT. I am beyond excited to put Rexburg in my rearview mirror and finally live close to family and friends.

Can't wait for the fun to begin!
