Mackenzie: 3 Month Update

Happy three months to this crazy cutie of ours! Mackenzie has changed so much since last month, and we can't believe how much she's grown. She loves to smile at anyone who catches her eye, and wants to sit up any chance she gets.

Her happy attitude might have something to do with the fact that we got her on some reflux medicine towards the end of May. After thinking that we might just have a fussy baby, my gut told me that something else was bothering her. So we got some medicine to try out, and that did the trick.
Earlier this month, we were able to bless Mackenzie and have most of our family there. It was a great day, and Mackenzie didn't cry like I guessed she would. She is quite the people person, so she loved having all the attention that week my parents were here.

Mackenzie has also become a FANTASTIC sleeper (knock on wood!) at night. She's really great at doing long stretches, and is starting to become more predictable.

Here's how other things are going...

Mackenzie Likes
Sitting Up
Being outside
White noise
Being able to see Mommy or Daddy at all times
Smiling
Making happy sounds
Spitting up (although a lot less than before)
Being rocked to sleep

Mackenzie Doesn't Like
Being left alone in a room
Tummy time (no matter what tricks mommy tries)
When her sister makes loud noises
Wearing wet clothes (from spit up)
Falling asleep anywhere but at home

We sure love this cutie with her chubby cheeks and bright blue eyes. She is a blessing to have in our home and we're grateful she's here!
