We finally have internet! After being without internet for over two weeks, other than my smartphone, I am SO happy. Now I get to play catch up on all the things that have happened.
Marlene is now three months old and I can't believe how "grown up" she is! As of today she is wearing 6 month clothes, drinking 5 ounce bottles of formula,
and smiling and giggling up a storm!
and smiling and giggling up a storm!
Here's how things are going as of right now:
Marlene Likes:
Playing on the floor
Sitting in her swing
(She usually takes her naps in there)
Bathtime: aka splash mommy time
Morning snuggles in our bed
Sitting up where she can see whats going on
Riding in the stroller
Smiling, especially at Daddy
Any form of "white noise"
Being swaddled while sleeping
Marlene Doesn't Like:
Tummy Time
Getting overheated
(Happens a lot, she is her father's daughter)
Being left alone in a room
Crinkly wrappers
Stopping at red lights
Getting the hiccups
Her list of dislikes has gotten shorter since I wrote her 6 week update. She really is a happy baby and usually only gets fussy if she's hungry or tired.
We're having lots of fun figuring out what makes her giggle. It all started a few weeks ago when I went to scratch some dry skin off of her nose/cheeks and she busted up laughing. So far we've found a few tricks and we can get at least one giggle a day.
Also, yesterday she rolled over for the first time! I put her on her tummy just to see what she would do, and within 2 minutes she rolled over.
This is the second time she did it:
Can't believe how fast time has gone, I was thinking the other day how its almost been a year since I found out I was pregnant. We're sure having fun figuring out how to be parents, and it helps to have such a sweet little girl.
