Marlene had her two month check-up today!
She has sure grown a lot and it was fun to see her progress.
When she was born Marlene weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 19 inches long. She now weighs 11 lbs 8 ounces and is 21.5 inches long! The nurse also commented that her head has practically doubled in size, she had to double check her
measurements because she couldn't believe it.
The doctor said everything looked great and Marlene is developing right on track in every way. Marlene was being such a good girl it was sad to see her get 3 shots and cry so hard. She was smiling at the nurses beforehand, almost like she knew what was coming and
was trying to sweet talk her way out of it.
We really have been blessed with such a sweet girl, even after getting her shots she only cried for about a minute. Maybe it helped that we gave her Tylenol before, but I think its because she really is a sweetheart.
Grateful today that I have a happy, healthy baby with such a sweet spirit.
Life is good.
