Tutorial Tuesday: Felt Heart Garland

I'm in love with our Valentine's Day Mantle!!
My favorite part is our felt heart garland.
It was so easy to make!
1. Cut out the heart shape you like best onto a piece of paper for a pattern.
2. Use the pattern to cut out as many hearts as you'd like.
3. Grab a needle large enough to thread yarn. Seriously, this is one of the best things to have! I've used it twice in the past week!

To thread it, the trick is to put a tiny bit of masking tape on the end:
4. Cut a generous amount of yarn, you can always trim it off the end. I tied a loop on the end because I was hanging mine on command hooks.
5. Threading the felt is the next step, and its pretty easy. Just pull the needle thru completely before you do another stitch, I had some issues getting tangled.

Thats it! Felt is rediculously cheap,
you should make one! =)
