3 Years...

Jason and I have been married for three years now! So much has changed since we started dating back in 2009, and our relationship has gotten stronger each day.
One thing I love about our marriage, that a lot of people probably don't know, is that we don't like to share. That probably sounds weird, so let me explain...

We have very different tastes in a lot of areas,
so instead of one person being unhappy we agree to disagree.

We each have our own tube of toothpaste.
I like Crest ProHealth, and Jason thinks its gross.

We often order our own pizzas from Domino's.
I like "white-sauce" pizzas and Jason is more of a classic kind of guy.

Sometimes we each pick out our own Redbox,
and watch them on our laptops while sitting next to each other. It's a way for me to see a chick-flick, and for Jason to watch an action movie that I didn't want to see.

Every year when we buy Girl Scout cookies we each get our own boxes, and there is no sharing. This is mainly because I married a man who can inhale a dozen cookies in one sitting.Whenever we buy oreos he eats 90% of them, this way we avoid a fight because you don't want to get in between a girl and her Thin Mints!

With all that being said, don't think that Jason and I aren't incredibly compatible. I love that we balance each other so well and I am grateful he puts up with me and my craziness!

One thing that has made me realize how much I love Jason even more, is having a baby and watching him be a daddy. I can tell that
Marlene has a tender place in his heart and this sums up my feelings exactly:
After having Marlene, I was a HOT MESS. Getting around was really hard and doing everyday tasks was a real challenge. I know it wasn't pretty at times, but Jason was right there to help me with everything. (He got really good at putting on my socks!)
It was great to see that we are truly companions, and I know he will always be there to take care of me no matter what.

Can't wait to see what this next year of marriage brings.
